In a featureless land, three dismayed, uncertain characters struggle within the containment of video space. Devoid, without, lacking. D-VOID is de void (the word), de woid of de Loid (the word of the Lord). Or, without God, Godless. Searching (not waiting), for God(ot). D-VOID is the void space of the video frame, waiting to be filled, animated.
Since its National launch on SBS Television in 1995 D-VOID has screened at many National and International film and video-dance festivals, including IMZ Dance Screen, Lyons, France 1996. In 1996 D-VOID was winner of Il Choreographico Elletronica, the Napolidanza Prize for Video Dance, Naples, Italy.
