Mirage Snow 1993

A Butoh performance in Moscow involving live video projection used to invert my body. I performed in a separate room with a camera operator and my image was live projected into the gallery but re-aligned. I then came into the gallery and performed in front of a projection of a close-up of snow. I used white noise static from a transistor radio. A live trumpet played from outside. I remember he said “so you are asking me to not sound like a trumpet!”.
